Despite entering their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight passage to the knockout stages, especially following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This match provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal.
